Incorporation of ETCOM Group, Another Paragon Example of Belt and Road Project Cooperation

On Oct. 29th, Shenzhen Harvest Holdings Group, Dubai Al Habtoor Group and Mr. Chow Stephen Shue Tong established the ETCOM International Jewelry Group together in Dubai. After the merge of Henela Island Investment in Namibia in 2018, this is another significant industrial upgrading project for Harvest Holdings along the Belt and Road. During the brand conference, all partners agreed to make the ETCOM as the paragon example in the Belt and Road.

In 2018, in response to the Belt and Road Strategy, Harvest Holdings Group merged the Henela Island Investment in Namibia to develop local mining resources as well as solve employment problems. The mining area has exploited resources including precious metal, diamond, jewelries, copper, zinc, lead and dolomite, among these resources, the precious metals and diamonds have been sold to jewelry companies worldwide.

Because of the weakness of the industrial system in Namibia, the local mineral exploitation was limited in raw material phase. According to relevant researches, products of Henela owns high quality and high purity, as a result, these products have high value for high-end diamonds and handiwork. Therefore, all partners decide to improve the profit level of mining exploitation and upgrade the industrial attribute of mineral resources.

Hence, Harvest Holdings established the ETCOM Jewelry Group together with Al Habtoor and Mr. Chow Stephen Shue Tong. By combining all the advantages, the projects will soon step into a fast lane.

The Al Habtoor Group is one of the most respected enterprises in the UAE. With businesses including hotel, car sale, real estate, engineering, medical health and investment, the involvement of Al Habtoor will perfectly fit the high-end image of jewelry company.

During the brand conference, all partners expressed that they will make best use of their own advantages to work together in industrial capital, upstream material, product design, sale channel and brand construction to build a strong jewelry brand.

All participants believes that adding high additional value to industry is the key support for successfully supplementing the Belt and Road strategy. In the future, with the increase of income level and consumption consciousness, the integration speed of industry will be faster. Therefore, the establishing mode of ETCOM is worth being promoted and made as example.
